Our political leaders appear singularly focused on increasing their stockpiles of black gold, while the rest of us are deeply concerned about the impact their efforts will cost our environment. To make matters worse,the giants of the oil industry, backed by their political cohorts, have discovered a new and terrifying avenue in which to acquire their national treasure.

Oil tycoons bag billions, not millions, just in bonuses every quarter. How wonderful would it be if these bigwigs would be able to pry their hands from these piles of bonus cash and hand it over to we individuals who actually care about the health of mother nature, ourselves, and the world our future generation will live in. Imagine the difference we could make with all that money. Cause lets face the reality of the modern world, its going to take a lot more green in order to make Earth more green. In how ever many years it takes for the government and their oil buddies to strip the mid-west of its first several layers of earth, I guarantee the end result will be the mining site resembling a post nuclear war zone.
